Fenix is a technology platform that optimizes inventory across locations, order management, carrier selection and shopper-facing shipping options to improve conversion, reducing cart abandonment and fulfillment cost.
Founder Akhilesh Srivastava first learned about supply chain technology while working on order management solutions for Infosys and IBM, before becoming the Director of Delivery Experience and Returns for eBay.
While at eBay, Akhilesh ran experiments showing that dynamically calculated delivery dates displayed during browsing could significantly improve conversion rates.
Seeing the gap in the market for solutions that optimize both customer experience pre-purchase and operational efficiency post-purchase, Akhilesh left eBay in 2017 to build Fenix.
He bootstrapped the company with his own money to build out the initial product and close their first customers.
Today, the company serves a selective list of midmarket and enterprise shippers.
Shows accurate, real-time delivery dates to customers while they browse, improving conversion rates.
Automatically selects the optimal carrier for each order based on cost, service level, and other factors.
Determines the best fulfillment location for each order based on inventory availability, proximity to customer, and other factors.
Provides tracking pages, delivery notifications, and return management capabilities.
Helps brands optimize their inventory placement and carrier selection across their entire network.
