TL;DR

PorterLogic is an inventory automation system that connects with brands' existing systems (including ERPs) to plan inventory replenishment, set and maintain safety stocks, submit POs and manage suppliers.

What's the backstory?

  • PorterLogic was started by Anya Skomorokhova and Jonathan Porter. Anya’s background is in building and launching B2B SaaS platforms and Jonathan’s is in developing software and implementing warehouse management systems.

  • The company started after Jonathan spent years observing how companies would invest millions on systems and services that would take years to implement, only to be outdated by the time they went live. They never met the user’s evolving needs and workflows often changed for the worse.

  • As the company went to market with warehouse management solutions, they discovered customers struggled with manual procurement processes but could not find solutions that could be configured to match their operation. PorterLogic was well suited to systemize purchasing processes and enable the personalization needed for each nuanced operation.

FAQ

2-8 weeks, depending on the number of data sources, parameters used in replenishment calculations (vendor lead time, min order qty, safety stock, demand, etc), and availability of customer SMEs for integration access.
