What's the backstory?

• Founder Andrew Rea discovered the pain points of sales tax compliance while working as head of ops & finance at a food marketplace that expanded from 1 to 20 states.

• After struggling with existing solutions like Avalara and TaxJar, Rea founded Taxwire in 2023.
